Is anyone else running this race? (formerly the US Half's Other Half.)

This will be my first barefoot half, and I wanted to double check that the route is more or less barefoot friendly. I haven't run Crissy Field barefoot, but from what I remember the paths are decent. I don't think the bridge will be a problem. The unknowns are the loops on the Marin side and the portion through The Presidio. Does any city runner want to weigh in for me?

I suppose I should just get my backside up there and check it out.

I'm doing it - initially was going to do all of it barefoot, but some delays in training mean that I'll probably be doing 1/2 barefoot and 1/2 shod - then again, I might just make it up as I go along. I know that the path near fort point while paved is not exactly smooth - walked on it last year barefoot and it wasn't pleasant.

Yup, Fort Point was the worst part. Luckily, it wasn't that long. Second worst was the gravel downhill on the other side of the bridge; also not very long. Crissy Field was annoying but well packed down and the loose bits were small and not sharp.
