Where does everyone prefer to run barefoot in Birmingham? I am a true barefoot runner and typically run the Jemison Trail from Brookwood Mall west to the end of the trail, take a left on South Lakeshore Drive, to the cul-de-sac and back. This route is approximately 7 miles.

I also like Jemison Trail. I run the portion East of Cahaba Road. The down side is that this concrete "trail" is a bit gnarly and I have to slow waaaay down. I run early (5ish). Also, alot of the roads in this area are nice and smooth.
