Registered for my first 5K

I agree! None of this started for me until age 45. So, I missed out on decades of great running AND awful running!

Old dudes FTW!

If you've never really run before you've perhaps got more going for you than people like me who've been running since junior high. I still work to avoid my old, bad running habits that you never developed. You're starting with a nice, clean slate.

And what's great about running is if you do it right to avoid injury we've both got at least a few good decades ahead of us to continue enjoying it.
