I ran/walked the Little Rock Turkey Trot 3 mile course barefoot this year. Lots of amazed looks and comments. The downhill bit on Pierce street was a little rough but not too bad. Most of the course was very smooth. I also hiked the Lake Sylvia loop barefoot during the Thanksgiving weekend monsoon. No chiggers, snakes or poison ivy and only one other human on the trail. Very nice.
Hiked Hunt's Loop today. Wore my Amuri Clouds since I've never hiked this trail before and didn't know what I'd get into. I was glad I had them. Parts of the loop are soft and smooth but much of it is rocky. Lots of sharp stuff. Beautiful trail in all, but the last mile is in sight of the highway. Not a big fan of that.
