This weekend I'm running the Ragnar Trail, Northwoods WI, barefoot. This is a hill with mountain biking trails, and they're pretty rocky. There's a good bit of large construction rock put down to stabilize the trails. I tried running it barefoot last year, bit it was too much so I put on some sandals (Vivos). This year, I'm prepared! I've started all my training runs down an alley with that rough gravel. That's really gotten me bending my knees and stepping lightly. We'll see how it goes. The Ragnar Trail is a 3 mile, a 5 mile, and an 8 mile loop for everyone on an 8 person team, run over two days and a night.

There's no real rule that says you have to continue as you started, is there? If you need to pop on some vivos for your 22nd loop, please do!
