The forcast for Sunday

The forcast for Sunday morning's 5K race start is in the 40's!

Not sure if I'll have to try the Feel Max Pankas again for the first time since May 8'th in GR.

Well, your noon is my 9 PM so if someone gives you grief, just tell them you're trying to become more European. ;)

Neuroses free.

Probably tailgating already.

Interesting point boardster!

Interesting point boardster! I'm almost willing to put on a green shirt and give it a shot. Except that it would feel...so...dirty. Go blue!

I'm used to co-mingling. I'm a U-M grad, my wife is a WMU as well as WSU alumnus, daughter is a ...shhhhhh.....

don't tell anyone.....MSU grad........, one son will graduate WMU this December, and the other is at OU.

Good thing none of us are die-hard fans!

Wow board, no kidding, sports

Wow board, no kidding, sports would have to be a taboo topic in your household.

I'm loving the fall beers that are out now... good bye summer!

Tonight the vibe will be "it's just a game, that's all".

Besides, I'M the dad.

So WHAT if #1 daughter's team won!

Good thing she lives 260 miles away.

I've gotta try this stuff15.

I've gotta try this stuff

15. Worst Beer

330 calories

0 g fat

32.1 g carbohydrates

9.6% alcohol

Carbohydrate Equivalent:

12-pack of Michelob Ultra

Most beers carry fewer than 175 calories, but even your average

extra-
heady brew rarely eclipses 250. That makes Sierra’s Bigfoot
the undisputed beast of the beer jungle. Granted, the alcohol itself

provides most
of the calories, but it’s the extra heft of carbohydrates
that helps stuff nearly 2,000 calories into each six-pack. For

comparison, Budweiser has 10.6 grams of carbs, Blue Moon has 13,

and Guinness Draught has 10. Let’s hope the appearance of this gut

guzzler in your fridge is as rare as encounters with the

fabled beast himself.

So, basically, you could just

So, basically, you could just live off a six-pack of those per day from a calorie stand-point? Too bad I don't drink beer...

In other news, I'm doing my best to cure a sore throat by drinking whiskey and eating ice cream at the moment. Effective? Dunno. Enjoyable? You bet.

Now you are talking they

Now you are talking they probably run about $10 so that is pretty cheap too. And I am sure they taste way better than whiskey drizzled over ice cream. That's like eating pizza and drinking orange juice yuck.

Yeah, that's not the way I do

Yeah, that's not the way I do it either. The ice cream was the first part, the one I did while the kids were awake. The whiskey, 12 year old Bowmore single malt to be precise, came into play after they'd fallen asleep. I wouldn't mix that one with anything, it's way too good on it's own.
