Plantar fibroma, should I be worried?

I noticed my right foot has developed what appears to be a plantar fibroma. It hasn't caused any problems so far, but it worries me that the only effective treatment seems to be surgery and it could become chronically painful in the future.

Graston technique or fascial release may resolve the fibroma. Orthotics will reduce the tension on it but that is not a fix. Not sure how you developed that but I am wondering if there may be some tightness in the leg, calf or other part of the fascio kinetic chains.

Usually, problems such as fasciitis, fibromas are merely symptoms of running gait problems
