recently bought pink duck tape from wallmart and wrap a layer around balls of my feet on cotton hand gloves w/c I retrofit ( cut finger part ) and wear it on my feet. pink color rocks/cool.

I noticed minimalist shoes coming out to market comes in trendy color, just copying the colors to make barefooting catch up with color style. My daughter finally agree to help me post picture later.

photo on the left, wrist elastic part of cotton gloves falls on the arch, looks like cotton VFF thats cut into half. so nothing at all @heel. just a quick prototype w/ easily available ready made material. but it works well for me. could not possibly run w/out it on very hot asphalt. its good for around 100km, cotton start to break apart. thinking of making it of durable yet breathable material and very thin rubber underneath.
Those'll definitely keep people from asking if you forgot your shoes
I am talking to Foot Paws right now. They actually have a product that would do what you need. There are very few other products like it, but Foot Paws is the only one that actually goes around all five toes. The other products only loop around at the big toe and slip around. I hope to use them in combo with gel pads in my new Teva Zilch running sandals. I should be sharing more with you all about this soon.
