I love this trail for any kind of run. It is not for barefoot beginners though! There are stretches with crushed oyster shells, although it is possible to bypass them on the grass for the most part. I've also heard they put down new gravel in some areas over the winter so I'll update this after I get a chance to check it out. In a area that is very flat, this has great hills up and down the sides of the inlet. Steep areas are terraced with wood planks to make a sort of uneven staircase effect that will keep you focused! Easily done in a minimal shoe for those not ready for barefoot trails. Can get muddy after a run, but usually dries out quickly relative to the area.
