Well, they wrote it was a taoist temple before becoming a tea house. So I suppose in the past it was a kind of pilgrimage...

Also, I wonder how many people die each year trying to climb up there.

And I wonder how the tea house gets its supplies in tea and water - any tea plantations up there? A spring on top of the mountain? How do they heat the water - I suppose there won't be any electricity? If they do it the old fashioned way , i.e. a kettle on a fire, they also have to transport some kind of fuel up there...
And the idea of transporting any kind of stuff up there makes it even scarier!
