    I was recently contacted by Holly Remmenga, a graduate student from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. She is conducting a research study, under the supervision of Dr. Melanie McGrath (assistant professor at UNO) analyzing the effects of minimalistic shoe use. The study will look at how running in minimalistic shoes (Virbram Five Fingers) effects running form and balance. Currently she is seeking 20 participants for the study, both runners in “traditional” shoes and those in minimalistic shoes. These participants must run a minimum of 10 miles per week, and been doing so for the past 6 months or longer. Please see the posted recruitment flier for contact details.
