Mileage Reporting Week 8 ( Feb. 20 to Feb. 26 )

Boulder and I did a 4 mile run Tuesday at 5:00 am. It was 55 deg. f. with no wind. Cloudy sky (no stars or moon). I spotted some deer and one skunk was headed right for us on the side of the road. We heard lots of roosters, some coyotes, and geese.

We did a 3 mile run at 5:00 am. It was 43 deg. f. with 15 mph wind from the north. sky was clear with lots of stars. Spotted one skunk. We heard some roosters and coyotes.


Great outing!

4.7 mile indoor run on Thursday. I was the only person using the track which makes it kind of monotonous, but felt better and better as the run progressed. My legs felt more tired than usual, not used to the banked track I guess. Heel bruise was not an issue

We did a 4 mile run Sunday at 6:00 am. It was 47 deg. f. and heavy fog. We spotted deer, geese, ducks, horses and one rabbit.

5 mile run around my neighborhood on this sunny mid-30's afternoon. The wind was around 20mph but the sun warmed the pavement nicely, thank you. Saw some walkers and lots of squirrels. Was a nice easy effort and it really helped improve how I felt for the rest of the day.
