Mileage Reporting Week 6 (Feb 8- Feb 14)

Boulder and I did a 4 mile run at 5:00 am. It was 36 deg. f. with 17 mph wind from the north and slight drizzle. Roads were wet. Feet did good.

6.75km this morning. A pretty cold one today, around -6C. Changed my route slightly to avoid the icy sections so managed to follow a path that was mostly dry throughout. Feet warmed up nicely after about 10 minutes. Good run...

I did 4.2 miles yesterday evening wearing my Merrels and Yak-Traks. 18 degrees on packed snow and ice. Saw a couple of dog walkers and that was it. Felt pretty exhausted today, not sure why. Partly due to the winter doldrums no doubt. Running outside here in the winter is just more complicated than the rest of the year, even though each season brings its own set of challenges.

8km at the weekend -another cold run, but nice and dry for a change. Not too many other runners about.
I'm sure it's slowly starting to get light earlier again now -ooh role on Summer!..
