Back out to my favourite route around the lake today for 6.2km. We had a bit of rain overnight so although it had stopped by morning it was still basically a wet run. Periodically along the pathway, where it is sheltered by trees, there were some dry sections -so I left some wet footprint trails which always makes me smile (not sure why really, it just does...). Legs & feet all feeling good at the moment -looking forward to the next one already...
Boulder and I did 3 miles Tuesday and then 5 miles on Friday. My feet and legs are doing good after last Sundays 1/2 Marathon. We are still seeing rabbits here and there, Boulder wants to chase them but stays focused on the workout
7.5 miles this morning at 6:00 am, the temp dropped to the low 40's F. We got to witness a great sunrise. We saw one duck flying, some rabbits and lots of squirrels
Managed to get in another 6.6km in the week & then went to a different park area from my usual route and did 5.3km to finish the weekend off. The path on my second run was a little rugged in places, but nothing to bad -just meant you had to be a bit more careful to pick your way through the lumpy sections!... Quite a good week overall...
I may not have gotten any miles for that week but I managed to be barefoot for an autism educational conference. And I did walk around the hotel it was in for about a mile or so.
