Boulder and I did 2 runs this week so far. 3 miles Tuesday. 3 mile today (Friday) Today we were out at 4:45 am. It was 38 deg.f. with no wind. We are still on the country road. Very clear skies (lots of stars). We spotted one rabbit and heard coyotes. Great outing for us!
Couple of runs so far this week for me. 7.5km loop of both lakes on Wednesday & then again today another 7.5km. Both days were pretty cold. We've had a groundfrost here these last few days, so I've been grateful that it's remained dry -back to running in multiple layers..
Boulder and I did a 5 mile run today at 5:30 am. We heard a few owls, lots of cows mooing, a rooster crowing and lots of smaller birds. We started off with lots of stars and ended with a great sunrise.
I did a 5.2 mile run yesterday ( Saturday ) after taking the rest of the week off. I'm trying to get rid of some nagging aches and pains that have plagued me for the past couple of months. Felt good and strong for this run with little discomfort. It was cold, rainy and snowy here last week as well. Saturday however was sunny and beautiful with temps near 50.
10.5km to finish off the week. Fairly cold underfoot, but good and dry so quite a nice run... Think it'll be back to using the torch again in a few days -the extra hour of early morning light that the recent end to Summertime brought is fading fast!...
