5.2 miles on Monday, Columbus Day, at Presque Isle. I wore shoes to give my sore foot a break. This was another in a string of almost summer-like days. I saw a number of duck blinds appearing along my route, in preparation for the upcoming duck hunting season. It is amazing how the little added weight of shoes can be felt in the legs during a run. A few ounces being raised and lowered 10,000 times really adds up I guess.
