Boulder and I did a 4 mile run this morning at 5:00 am. We missed yesterday (heavy thunderstorms). Today it was 84 deg. f. with 70 % Rh. Spotted some rabbits.

We went 5 miles Tuesday and 4 miles today. Today was a slight drizzle most of the run. Quiet here also for some reason. Really good runs!

9km on the beach this morning. Slept in and didn't really have any goals so decided to run up to check if the local sand artist (breatheablueocean on instagram) had been hard at work in the morning - he creates gigantic masterpieces in the dark with just a garden rake on the sand at low tide. I got back and checked Strava and to my surprise I ran about 5 or 10 seconds per km faster than usual. Don't know if it was because it was a bit later and the sun was up, or because there were more people than usual on the beach and I was saying hi to everybody and therefore more upbeat. Nice though.

Ran the same loop a couple of times this week, so 7.5km on Wednesday & then 7.5km again this morning..
Unfortunately there's nothing as elaborate as sand art where I run, which is a shame. I always admire that creative ability to produce something recognisable on such a large scale with just simple tools... I can manage the odd sandcastle here & there, but that's about it!...:)

10.5km on Sunday morning -lots of other runners out again this weekend. I think some organisers are starting to schedule races again here now (on a 'Covid controlled' basis), so clearly people are dusting off their training routines me thinks...:)
