Mileage Reporting Week 34 (Aug 21 - Aug 27)

6.75km today on rather a dull morning. No sunshine to speak of even though the temperature was quite nice for the morning (around 18C).
Ran to & from the lake along a pretty smooth route. Paused on the way back to exchange pleasantries with a dog walker. Complimented him on his very well behaved German Shepherd. -Completely forgot that I was barefoot in that moment & he didn't seem bothered either. -It's nice when you can interact with a stranger in that way without feeling like you're being scrutinised for not wearing shoes...

Boulder and I heard some owls chatting to each other and we are still seeing rabbits.
Friday there was a nice breeze.

4.6km on Friday morning and then back out again today for 8.6km.
Both really nice runs. Ran the shorter distance a little quicker than usual -just to change things a bit & all felt good.
There seemed to be lots of wildlife around this morning -all sorts of birds, as well as squirrels, rabbits, and a very confident looking fox ran along beside me for a bit before deciding to head of into the bushes...
Lots & lots of fishermen out today too -must be the weather!...
