Mileage Reporting Week 26 (June 27-July 3)

4 miles at Presque Isle on Monday evening after work. Seemed quiet for the week before the July 4th holiday, most likely due to the unseasonably cool weather. Saw a couple of Baltimore Orioles and Red-Headed woodpeckers hammering away. Nice slow paced run.

Boulder and I did a 4 mil run Tuesday and a 3.5 mile run Thursday.
Both very fun runs. We spotted horses, rabbits and lots of birds.

3.2 miles on Thursday evening. Warm temps and low humidity made perfect running conditions. Still pretty quiet for the week before a holiday...

4 miles on Sunday. I've never had an issue with hot pavement but I did today. Waited till mid-afternoon to go out on this cloudless day and I guess the sun was strong enough to heat the pavement more than usual. Got through 4 miles but with a lot of tenderness afterwards. I actually cut my planned run short by a mile and walked on whatever cooler ground was available. Tourists arrived in full force today.
