A nice 7km to start the week here. The weather's certainly picking up and the mornings are bright and just the right temperature for running.
Lots of wildlife out around the lake this morning -had to run round a few families of geese with the older birds looking after their young -they're very resolute in standing in the middle of the path so that you don't go near the little ones!...:)

Another 6.5km circuit completed yesterday morning... lots more runners out. A few that I’ve not seen before seemed quite surprised to see a barefoot runner ... “doesn’t that hurt your feet?”...
    Me: “Nope...”:)

We went out for a 8 mile run today at 5:30 am. It was 75 deg. f. and cloudy. right out of the house we spotted a coyote (it would run ahead of us for a bit then stop and look at us) we soon went our separate ways. At about Mile 1 we spotted a opossum scuttling around a front yard. We also heard a rooster crow. we heard a group of parrots and saw them in flight. We saw hawks, rabbits, squirrels, ducks and a wood pecker. really great outing!
