Mileage Reporting Week 18 ( May 01 to May 07 )

Boulder and I did a 3 mile run Tuesday at 4:30 am. It was 60 deg. f. with no wind. The moon was very cool and lots of stars. We spotted rabbits. We heard owls roosters and lots of whippoorwills.

Great to get out!!

We did a 3 mile run Thursday at 4:30 am. It was 60 deg. again with overcast sky. I could still make out the huge moon. Lots of whippoorwills again.

2.7 miles on Thursday afternoon at Presque Isle. Still a lot of sap on the trail which greatly hinders me. I set out to do 5 miles but had to stop and walk the the second half because of foot soreness and a tight right calf. But we actually had no rain this afternoon after a full week of rain and snow, so that was good. I saw some brilliant red cardinals while walking back.

We did a 4 mile run Sunday at 5:30 am. It was 67 deg. f. with no wind. the sky was clear and the moon was full. We had a great sunrise. We spotted a horse, one rabbit, some geese and lots of birds. We heard the whippoorwills and lots of song birds.
