Mileage Reporting Week 17 ( Apr.24 to Apr.30 )

Boulder and I did a 4 mile run Tuesday at 5:00 am. It was 55 deg. f. with 10 mph wind from the east. We had a slight drizzle for the first mile. We spotted a few deer and heard the whippoorwills.

4.9 miles around my neighborhood on a cool, wet and dreary Monday morning.It felt good to get this one in. I saw some geese and heard a turkey gobbling. One good thing about this route that I am temporarily using is that it has some hills, which my normal route at Presque Isle does not have. The entire next week looks cool and damp so it looks like my next couple of runs will be in conditions similar to today. Kind of saps motivation when it's in the mid 40's with rain and fog all of the time.

5 miles at Presque Isle on a cool, wet Saturday morning. Saw lots of ducks and geese and 1 deer.There were a few other runners and walkers out as well.Had lots of sap to clean off my feet. I have found that orange oil and mayonnaise works pretty well.

We had a sweet 3 mile Sunday run at 6:00 am. It was already light out. we heard Owls, mockingbirds, roosters, geese and many song birds. We spotted one horse and some buzzards.
