Mileage reporting week 16 of 2016

8 mile run Sunday morning at 5:45 am 65 deg. f..
really nice run large moon to start (with hazy cloud cover)
1/2 through the run the sun made a most excellent sunrise with the moon still to my east.

Saturday I did a short long run with Yvonne, 11 miles +1 cool down walk. Out on the bike Sunday morning for a short 12miles, still trying to break in the saddle.

Biggest week in a while, 37¼ mi bfr, and 25 on the bike.

Short 2.1 and 1.4 mile runs on Wednesday and Thursday mornings, respectively, preceded longer runs on Friday and Saturday. It rained in Oakland on Thursday night so I had a lot of puddles to splash through as I went around the lake for a total of 7.4 miles on Friday morning. On Saturday morning, I ran a mile to the gym. Later that morning, I met up with Efrem for a barefoot loop around Lake Merritt for another 4.2 miles. The sole of left foot was a bit tender on Saturday so I made Efrem walk over part of the loop. Sorry!
