Boulder and I did a 3 mile run at 5:00 am. It was 55 deg. f. with almost no wind. Sky was clear with lots of stars and a large bright moon. No wildlife but an exciting outing.
3.6 miles at Presque Isle on Monday, 34 degrees with a cold northeast wind. Did not see another soul on my run, but the birds continue to be active, which may be misplaced as it started to snow as I was finishing my run. Wound up with several inches when all said and done.
We went on a 3 mile run Friday at 5:00 am. It was 46 deg. f. with no light wind from the north. The sky was partly cloudy (some cool puffy clouds). the moon was big and bright. No wildlife to speak of.
We had a really fun 4 mile run Sunday at 6:00 am. It was 52 deg. f. with 12 to 18 mph wind from the North. The sky was cloudy. We spotted deer and rabbits. We heard coyotes yipping and crying, roosters crowing and lots of birds at the end.
We had 6 inches of snow today ( Friday ) so my planned run was moved indoors. I was hoping for 5 miles but cut it short at 4 because of left heel soreness. It was a pretty good run, maintaining a decent pace with not much fatigue. There were a couple of other runners and walkers today too.
