Mileage Reporting Week 1 (Jan 3 - Jan 9)

So here we are back at the start!
Couple of runs so far this year for me -8.9 km at the beginning of the week & 9.5km yesterday morning. Both cold! I've had to resort to 4 layers & a hat to keep my 'engine' at the right temperature. -And it's been working pretty well -both good runs...

It is cold here also. Boulder and I did 2 runs so far this week.
3 miles Tuesday at 5:00 am, 34 deg. f
3 miles Wednesday at 5:00 am, 32 deg. f.
I spotted meteors both days!
Great to get out!!

Another early morning 7.5km today -still cold & wet, which makes some sections of the run quite slippery! Nice quiet run anyway...

Ditto on the cold here too- mostly in the 20's. 4.1 miles on Tuesday and 4.6 miles today ( Saturday ). Thin skin of ice starting to form on Presque Isle bay. Today was beautiful with fresh snow and bright sunshine. Lots of runners out today too, taking advantage of the sunshine.I did see a Blue Heron today which is a little odd- don't usually see these in the Winter.

Boulder and I did another 3 mile run today (Sunday) at 6:00 am. Typical Texas weather back up to 57 deg. f. very foggy out. Really wonderful outing!

15.25km yesterday to finish off the week.
Felt nice and comfortable so I just carried on for a bit longer than I’d expected. Watched the sun come up as I ran.. it’s nice when you can do that
