Low-Tide is at 6:34 AM, and it usually gets pretty hot later in the morning, so if anyone is up to it, let's meet at 7:00AM on the Sunset Beach Greenbelt, Anderson Street between South Pacific Avenue and North Pacific Avenue. It's just steps away from the famous Water Tower House in Surfside, California. Then we can do a walk-run on the beach in Surfside (dogs on-leash welcome). From there it's about a mile to the Huntington Harbor/Seal Beach breakwater (and another mile back).

If someone doesn't want to get wet and/or sandy, we can run on the Greenbelt. It's a bit longer than a mile to the south end of Sunset Beach, where the Bolsa Chica State Beach begins and has an 8+ mile long multi-use path for those who just feel like running 18 miles or so.

There's free parking in Sunset Beach all along the Greenbelt, and more free parking on Pacific Coast Highway and maybe on the short side streets, these all fill up quickly on Sunday mornings in May, so don't wait until late morning to show up! Besides, I won't be waiting until late morning either.

Oh, and if you're really worried about parking, you can rent the Water Tower house, which includes parking: https://www.booking.com/hotel/us/the-water-tower-house.html
And it's less than $1000 per night! (minimum stay 7-nights)

    Notes:
    1. There's a public restroom at 25th street on the Greenbelt. I think they open by 7AM.
    2. I'm not going to bring a canopy, just look for the weird, old, long-haired, bearded, barefoot guy with a crazy beautiful Husky...
