2017 International Barefoot Running Day - Florida-Tampa​

To All,

Below are details for this year's Tampa Bay IBRD meetup. I didn't get any feedback on different places to run so we'll meet up at the usual location on Bayshore Blvd near downtown.

Who: Members of Tampa Chapter Barefoot Runner Society
What: An easy three mile barefoot or minimalist run. 1.5 miles out and 1.5 miles back to the start. If you aren't up to that distance then do what you can and we'll meet back up after the run.
When: Sunday, 7 May at 8AM.
Where: Lovely Bayshore Blvd. We'll meet up across the street (bay side) from the building located at 2905 Bayshore Blvd., Tampa, FL 33629. A good place to park is the big parking lot just north of Bayshore Fit (2907 W Bay to Bay Blvd., Tampa, FL 33629).
Why: Promote barefoot and minimalist running in the Tampa area.

Coordinating instructions:
- Following the run, if there are any other takers, we can grab some breakfast at the small diner called Pach's Place. I'd bring some sandals for that as I'm not sure how keen they are to have us in there barefoot.
- I'll be on site at 8AM and will wait 15 min to see if anyone else shows up. If not then I'll begin running at 8:15AM
- I'll be in a Barefoot Runner Society t-shirt with a red running visor.
