The 10th Annual International Barefoot Running Day™ will be held on
Sunday, May 3, 2020!


This is a big one for us, since it’s been a whole decade that we’ve been doing this! Let’s make it a great one, okay?!​

International Barefoot Running Day™ (IBRD™) is a grassroots, inclusive effort to promote barefoot running as a healthy and viable way to run. It’s also about having fun and delighting in the idea of running barefoot with thousands of people worldwide on the same day.

Please take part in IBRD this year, and if you can host an event (Check to see if your area's Chapter President on the site at www.TheBarefootRunners.org may already be hosting an event for you), please consider doing so. We want to spread the word about our sport everywhere we can. You can make it fun by having a picnic or going to a restaurant. The distance doesn't have to be long, just whatever the group decides, so be sure to invite your friends and family as well.

You can order tee shirts from our Zazzle store in a few days, once the winning design has been added (being done at the moment) and their servers finish replicating, so please check back for designs that state *10th Annual / 2020 IBRD*. We won't be adding the tee shirts to our store until we have an official IBRD date for 2020, since we decided to postpone it. If IBRD is cancelled for 2020, we will not have a tee shirt for 2020 and then just use the same artwork for 2021.
