    Dr. Dan Lieberman, aka “the Barefoot Professor,” a Harvard researcher whose research into barefoot running – a back-to-our-caveman ancestors approach to running – is coming to Asheville.

    Lieberman, along with Asheville ultrarunner Will Harlan and filmmakers Rod Murphy and Mickey Mahaffey, will be in Asheville May 23 at Malaprop’s Bookstore and Café at 7 p.m. and at the Fine Arts Theater on at 10:45 a.m. May 24, where Lieberman will present his book, “The Story of the Human Body,” and speak about his experiences with the Tarahumara Indians of Mexico.
