5K for MSA Barefoot or Shod Run/Walk


What is Multiple Systems Atrophy (MSA)? MSA is a degenerative neurological disorder associated with the degeneration of nerve cells in specific areas of the brain. This cell degeneration causes problems with movement, balance and other autonomic functions of the body such as blood pressure regulation. The cause of MSA is unknown and no specific risk factors have been identified. There is no remission from the disease and no known cure. Proceeds from race participants and sponsors will be donated to support ongoing research for MSA.

Check-in and Registration: 9:00 AM at EJ Nutter Park, 901 Factory Rd, Beavercreek, Ohio 45434. Early packet pickup will be on May 20, 5-8PM at New Balance Dayton, 304 E Stroop Rd, Dayton.

Awards: Shod Categories: Top 3 overall Male/Female Barefoot/Shod & top 3 in age groups: 10 and under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

Fees: (Non-refundable) $30 includes Hi Tech T-shirt if registered by May 1, 2016. Registration is $40 per person after May 1 and through race day (Shirt not guaranteed).
