Anybody else going? Will be my 2nd year at this one and my 2nd unshod marathon. Forecast looks sightly chillier than last year but only by a few degrees. Still, naked feet at 32F at 8 a.m.? Might keep at least a pair of huaraches on until just before the start.

The website says it is a two day event? That must be a burly 26.2 (or maybe just generously spaced start times).

I’ll hoist a mug of hot tea in honor of your cold toes this weekend!

The run itself is Sunday. Saturday is some health expo that's part of the event.

Wear socks then ditch them when run starts, that’s my go to in runs that start in those temps or colder. That way you don’t have to worry about carting sandals with you. But then again if you have someone with you at the start you can always leave your sandals with them.

I've got my new thin, super light leather huaraches that I can take with me easily enough. I'll be wearing a hydration vest without the bottles for storage so no real problem there. And I'll likely keep on my Luna Tabu booties with the huaraches at the start then stow it all just before we go.
