This course used to be a double loop, this year they changed it to one loop. I enjoyed the course, and the scenery was beautiful. It's starts and finish at the beach right on the board walk over looking the beach and ocean. But it is not the most barefoot friendlist course. Probably the only smooth roads were going over the bridges, the course takes you on a wooden board walk for about 4 miles as well, which is not bad at all. In fact it was relieving to get off the streets for awhile. The roads are very rough, choppy, 90% chip-n-seal, very old roads with concrete seperations. If you really want to test your will running on rough surfaces barefoot, this will be the course for you.
