I am including the list of runners and their legs below. If you are interested in training with any of them, that can be arranged. The co-captain and I are requesting that EVERYONE train on hills, just in case you have to fill in for another runner.

Here is a link to the leg map:

    Sanatan Runner 7 Van 2

Correction on the hills: everyone will have to deal with hills somewhere on your leg, so everyone must do some hill work. If someone gets injured and can't finish there is also the possibility that one or two people will have to run four legs.

Somehow the leg assignments makes this all a bit more exciting!

I'm not sure if anyone else feels a little disconnected with the team as we are all training, but it does fire me up to hear about what folks are doing... and how their running is going. This forum is perfect for sharing those stories.

Also, a couple of you are already also logging their weekly Barefoot Blocks (distance walked or run barefoot) on the public spreadsheet we created to help build some community and motivation with a different group: the Minimalist Mondays group. It seems kind of silly, but for me logging it in each week really helps me try to get my distances up. I'll post the link below, but you basically put your name or initials in the name row and then just log your weekly distance. The unit of distance is 'blocks' to be accessible for everyone and encourage little bits of barefooting but basically 1 mile = 200 blocks. The group is up to about 190 miles over 3 weeks so far, and you do not have to attend MM sessions to use the spreadsheet. Anyhow check it out and see if it is for you....

I think this link should work

Ya, I'm hoping that at the next non-meeting/meeting, that perhaps some people who like training buddies to motivate each other - will hook up.
