portland, or
or is that rolling pipe? oh words. thanks to prompting from TSWG i bought a 2x4 pvc pipe. holy crap. that thing works down deep. jndeleon came to my place yesterday with two beautiful new foam rollers that were bigger diameter than my little piece of plastic. i kindly tried them out. after a half hour of rolling i asked her when am i going to feel anything? may have just as well thrown a pickle down the hallway. eventually you hit something.

i was left, as most women know, unsatisfied. i quickly busted out my pipe to roll. much better and over fast. she even tried it and was pissed. who knew a a big black pipe would be so satisfying. hmm.

hey, this is the pub so enjoy.

i tried hard to lob a softball for everyone to hit. what good is life if you can't laugh? especially at the idiots who bring it on themselves.

if you can't laugh at yourself, then laugh at others.

It's funny Mike. I've got a variety of pipe here on the farm. Black sewer pipe, White water pipe, Blue irrigation pipe, Grey electrical pipe. Plan to try them all, but they will probably all feel the same. I kind of thought the foam rollers were a little soft and ineffective. Thanks for saving me some money.

Sorry to hear about your small plastic pipe not working out. You can't really help it if all you have to work with is a small pipe. But, there are other things that might help. Changing positions or using a different technique perhaps. Sometimes you just have to change the angle of the pipe or maybe you need to roll harder, or faster...or slower. Heck, I would even consider bringing in some extra people to see if they can help you with various pipe laying ideas. I would try using that small plastic pipe at every conceivable angle and position to see which way your pipe laying works best. How's that?

Poor Jen having to be associated with this thread.

(Tips propeller beenie)

i barely laid pipe on sunday. i was too wiped out from my run and the copious amounts of food i stuffed in my facial orifice.

I worked with a crew about 10 years ago building large agriculture irrigation systems. We raised a lot of pipe (pivot sprinkling systems). Laid pipe in deep trenches and then punched it together. Some of the hardest and most dangerous work I have ever done. Bad on the back. Now this other kind of pipe laying - good for the back.

This sounds like the beginnings of BRS-PLU, our very own pipe layers union. Of course there will need to be rules about who is allowed to lay pipe, including training sessions if needed (video training would be best)

This can not be confused with BRS-PSU, the pipe smokers union; that's a hole different ball game.

I still stick by my "roll naked (no protection) with some soft 80's porn music on in the background"!

At this point, my pipe isn't hard enough. Methinks it might be the shag carpet and I need to introduce more wood. Wrapping my pipe for protection also takes away the stimulation and excitement.

I'm also skeptical about 5 dudes standing around gripping their handles telling me I need to roll faster.

I would also warn amateurs, the unsuspecting and children that cold pipes are not great fore-play either.

I inspect already laid pipe for a living. I'm like a freggin expert on pipe, be it laid, or stood up on a vertical!

You know Shorty, it's easier to work with pipe if you trim the landscaping first. Keeps the pipe more visible and there's no chance of branches getting in they way.
