Quick update. Finished the bay to bay half shod in 1:53. I was hoping to just finish uninjured so happy to get that close to my original target of 1:45. Was on track until the 15km point when I just died from lack of training under my belt. Anyway, got the shoes off again and SLOWLY getting back into it! Thinking of doing the Hunter Valley Running Festival in July but will stick to the 5km or 1okm I think
I might do that too, will let you know if I go there....I think the 10km will also be my target given that I am in the middle of my training for a HM in September
No, sorry ...Only race this year will be City2Surf, and eventually the 9km bridge run in Sydney...I will not have time to come up to the Hunter
I just noticed something... Do all you Aussies not end your sentences with punctuation? There's no ending punctuation in the final sentence in any of these posts. Funny. Just something I noticed and am curious about. Okay, maybe not all the posts in this thread but on this page, yes.
Nah, I think it's just me....not that being a non native english speaker can be an excuse, french also has punctuation ! I will be a bit more careful !!
I have decided not to go myself. I have just ordered the new JVC GC-PX100 and I am going to film my sons AFL game on Sunday (TJ) I also purchased it so I can do some more slow motion running analysis. Since I filmed myself with my GoPro and slowed it down I have become really interested in different running styles and also filmed my 13 year old son with and without shoes (TJ) Going to learn how to use it first and grab some volunteers to build up a library of different running styles (TJ)
Umm, yes a distinct lack of punctuation, maybe it hampers getting the message out in super quick time. Brrrr it is cold over here at the moment (ok not as cold as some of you get in the States but cold for me). They might even get snow in the hills.... time to get that electric blanket on and dive under the quilt. Neil
