Date: Sun 07/10/11 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM CDT Anyone who's available for a run please feel free to join us Sunday morning. There is parking available at the park.
For now at least there isn't rain in the forecast. I hope it sticks. BTW, I plan to do a 10 mile run. I think Diego is up for that distance as well.
I think I may be up for 10 miles or so, but I'll see how it goes. I think hydration may be the key issue for me Sunday, given the humidity.
Cisco yup il do the 10 with you i figured if we meet up at 7:00 30 min in we can turn around and meet up with matt and chelsea. Matt there is drinking fountains north on the trail i believe a little past the gravel area.
There are supposed to be drinking fountains at Channelside Park which is just off of Main on the other side of the channel. Not having actually seen these fountains myself, I can't say for certain where they are or if they are really there.
I think that would be fine Diego. That waywe don't make Matt feel like he has to run 10 miles, which I'm sure he would love to but I know he has a little one to think about.
Hey, Guys! Sorry I've been out of touch. I'm still in! I'm "supposed" to do a 7-miler this weekend, but I think I'll be up for more, however I know my pace is slower than all of yours... so I'll hang with you guys for a while, and then I'll probably fade back after a few miles to settle into my "long haul" speed. I'll be there at 8. Chels
Chelsea -- I'm not sure I'm supposed to do any this weekend, but I'll aim for anywhere from 5 to 11, depending on how it goes. For my long runs, I tend to go really, really slow, so I might be the one who falls behind first.
Given we ate diner this evening in the area, I did a little scouting mission. There are fountains in Channel park, but with the dogs. But just north of that, on the other side of main, there is a working water fountain in a small Evanston park. Just good to know it's there.
