I am thinking of organizing the IBRD here in my city in Brazil, will it take place this year?
The question is because the last edition seems to have been in 2020.
The Barefoot Runners Society has turned over the coordination of International Barefoot Running Day to the world, that is anyone or any group who wants to host an IBRD event is welcome to do so and may post their event info here on this site in the IBRD forum, the country / state forum on this site, the BRS’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/barefootrunnerssociety), and anywhere else they feel would help them to get the word out.
The BRS will no longer hold artwork or tee shirt contests, so there will be no official artwork going forward.
We wish you great success with your IBRD event in Brazil and look forward to your pictures and reports.
BTW, International Barefoot Running Day is on Sunday, May 7, this year. IBRD always takes place on the first Sunday in May of each year.
