Well, I did go for a barefoot walk today. It ended up being 45 minutes long and 1.9 miles (according to Fitbit). Not sure if I'll top that on May 2nd, but we'll see.
This is my run report. I didn't go as far, but this time I did run for probably 1/4 to 1/3 of it, so I consider that better. I haven't run for a year or more (let alone barefoot-usually I run in sockwas), and I've only been barefoot outside here a few times (I figure my feet have gotten somewhat toughened by going up and down old inside wooden stairs a lot). I think I could have hit that 2 mile mark if all I did was walk. 18 minutes 1.22 miles Probably half a mile of it actually running And the awesome thing is that I found a route today that I think will work for me. Other places have had a lot of little rocks on the road or bits of cement falling apart on the sidewalk, which hurt my feet and distract me. This route has essentially none of that.
