Just seeing if there are any barefoot hikers in the area. I have made it a point to do most if not all my hikes barefoot this year. Just seems more natural. I never see anyone else out barefooting it...I usually get unusual looks and stares from people who think I'm crazy. In the Bentonville area.
I hiked the Seven Hollows trail barefoot a few months ago. It was nice; not too many stares. I hiked the Cove Lake trail last week for the first time. It looks like a very nice barefoot trail for cooler weather. Most of it is smooth and soft, but it's a little grown up with lots of poison ivy and chiggers this time of year.
