My name is Willem and I have been living barefoot for many years, only really wearing shoes at school. I have done a lot of walking barefoot, even climbing the Drakensberg barefoot. Even in winter I have walked and ran barefoot through some frost. Recently, at the start of 2020 I started running and am now just finished with my 9th week of training, following Eric Orton's Cool Impossible training program. Today I did my first half marathon with no shoes on tar.
And lastly I am buying me a pair of Xero Genesis sandals tonight or ASAP.
Thanks for the forum! Glad to be here. 3_IMG_20200725_122655.jpg

    Welcome, Willem! :barefoot:

Why oh why would you mess up a good thing and put shoes on now? Sounds like you're doing fantastic with your own bare feet. I actually made that mistake myself and destroyed my feet. If you do switch to or back and forth from minshoes to barefoot, then only do so when it's absolutley necessary.

    In the meantime, enjoy!

And, BTW, I should add, Xero anything are good, healthy shoes...for people who need them.

Thanks everyone! I am not as young as I look lol. I'm actually 18 already.
And being barefoot sure has its limitations (gravel).

Oh Mole, you sound a bit like that Hovis advert... the one with the New World Symphony. You can't be that old, surely?

I'm wondering whether bread noodles could exist. It should be possible.
(And I wasn't worried - I knew I could count on your brand awareness...)
Btw, is that Stonehenge in your photo? If so, what's a Kettering lad doing with a Salisbury landmark?
