Greetings from Ottawa Canada. I've never been a big runner as my knees have always complained. However, I decided to try the couch to 5k plan running in Vibrams after seeing a news article about barefoot running a couple of years ago. Last year, I ran my first 10km. This year, I have decided to ditch the shoes completely. I've again signed up for the 10k and might even start training up for a 1/2. If you are running along the canal around noon hour, say hi! There are no IBRD events in Canada, let alone Ottawa, so I ran the Run Ottawa 5k Farm today.
