Has Nike invented a second skin?

Damn, that second pic; the orange model, was almost exactly what I was envisioning. I'm having issue thinking of a substance that would adhere to the foot enough to withstand activity. I'd wear those, for sure, if I were going into an area with grass and I had no clue what was gonna bite into my foot. Next best thing I can think of is some sort of spary on second skin that is more duarable and breathable than the medical grade stuff you can get now.

I would think anything tough

I would think anything tough enough to stick to your skin and be durable for running would also tear your skin away, especially once you peeled them off, no?
