Barefoot Ken Bob is known as THE Master in the barefoot running community when it comes to, what else, running barefoot. He has run over 70 marathons barefoot and has helped to define barefoot running in the US as it is today. Ken Bob is on tour through the country offering FREE barefoot running workshops, no registration or reservations required. If you've ever been interested in or remotely curious about what it feels like to run barefoot, or even if you are a seasoned veteran, please join us at Drake Field in Peachtree City to learn the art of running barefoot from The Master. You will pick up tips and advice on how to find your proper barefoot running form, avoid injury, and enjoy running in a whole new way. Stay around afterwards for ashort runwith Ken Bob; a longer group run will follow if there is enough interest.

The best possible place to have Barefoot Ken Bob’s Running Barefoot Workshop in Peachtree City, Georgia, is at Lake Peachtree starting at Drake Field. It has nearly every terrain. There’s even a dog friendly park at Drake Field, just in case Herman (and other dogs) are a little lonely and needing to sniff around, if you know what I mean.

There should be plenty of parking; even if the city has some Memorial Day events planned, people can find parking all along the streets that outline the lake.

Note: Drake Field is located at the orange arrow on the map below. There is a legend that details the terrain at bottom left. There are hills, rolling hills, and flats located all around the lake. The Lake Peachtree Route is 3.6 miles in length. The board walk is not pictured on this map, but it is about 1/4 – 1/2 mile from the south end of this lake map. The board walk is .4 miles total O&B.

All skill levels are welcome. See you at Drake Field in Peachtree City, Georgia, on May 31 at 6:30 p.m. Yes, that’s 6:30 p.m.!

Ken Bob has revised/shortened his previously planned tour, but no worries for us! He still plans to come to Georgia! We are back on and all the details can be found below.
