Well i just finished my first 5K. I ran the 9th annual autumn breeze 5K at Tallulah Gorge. It was an awesome course. Fairly flat and beautiful scenery. I was the only barefoot runner there and only saw one person wearing VFF's. I finished 3rd in my age category (25-29) with a 31:10. I dont know if thats a good time or not. I did get a prize for placing though. People were amazed that I was barefoot and was asked a ton of questions. Everyone was so nice and congratulated me. Ready to run another one next weekend.

Congrats on a great race and placing! Not a bad finishing time for your first time. Besides, you can only get faster from here, right? So set those goals! -TJ

Great job in running the 5k barefoot and for placing. That is awesome. Now you have a baseline time and you can set a goal for your next race. I wish I could have joined you.
