Finished Lamaze, toured birth suites

Was fun seeing where our baby will be born. Shared our birth plan with the nurses, I already discussed it with my OB.

Here's our Birth Plan:

Wait as long as possible to go to the hospital
No unnecessary inductions/enhancement
Labor as long as the babe is safe
Wear my own clothes during labor
Be able to move around, deliver in most comfortable position
Have any equipment available to me
No episiotomy
I want to catch the baby
Stephanie (who I instructed to refer to as my WIFE) will cut the cord once it stops pumping
Wait to bathe the baby, vernix is good for them
We'd leave a boy intact
We're using cloth diapers
Oral Vit K, no eye drops, otherwise regular immunization
I'll be breastfeeding, we want to see a Lactation Consultant
Because I'm breastfeeding, please avoid: sugar water, pacifiers
I want to have the baby with me as much as possible
Stephanie wants to sleep over in my room

Went to my first LLL meeting, just to see if I like the group. The mommies were GREAT. Can't wait until the baby is here so I can see them more.

Good luck. Enjoy him/her all you can - the years go by so quickly. My baby just went 24 years old - seems like yesterday she was an imply little girl who burst on the scene to make a huge difference to my life. I am so glad that she and I are traveling to London on Friday to see a football game (translate that to soccer) and have a few beers together to celebrate life. We have separately and individually nearly lost each other over the past few years and realize life is precious.
