Dear all,

It was in my mind since I read Born to Run a couple of years ago. Finally, I did my first bfr last Thursday. Went for a run with shoes, and thought, "you know what? I don't need you anymore!" and ran the last 2.5K barefooted. Today I did 4K and I am loving it. Of course, I will be building up slowly. Any advice will be very welcome. I look forward to the new chapter in my life. It feels very good (you know what I mean)!

See you around!

Best wishes,
Salva

Hey Salva! Welcome and congrats on taking this step.
Take it easy and don't overdo. You'll probably start getting some pain in the following weeks as your feet toughen up and get used to the new technique, but they will be gone after a while.
Cheers!

I always run stuff through Google Translate. It's not perfect, but it does alright. Plus, some of the members speak both.
