In a study performed by Occupational Health Clicnic (Arbejdsmedicinsk klinik) in Odense, Denmark, it is "concluded that expensive running shoes don't prevent running injuries. There is no scientific evidence that individually custom made shoes prevent injuries". Now they just need to conclude that running without shoes does not cause injuries :)

Hi Mikkel, I came across a study that showed the more expensive the shoe, the more running injuries there are, so not only do they NOT prevent running injuries, the more expensive ones, the ones with all the bells and whistles and big names, cause more injuries. Can I move this to the Studies Forum for you, and if you have a direct link to that study, can you please edit your opening post and include it there? Thanks!

Okay, thank you!
