Well, I'd say you've successfully achieved your goal of concurrent training. You can deadlift 400 pounds and run a four-day ultra. Congrats! I should try to invent some kind of conditioning goal that takes account of my knees. Any suggestions? Maybe something on the sled? I don't think I want it to have anything to do with cycling. There's no way I'll ever be in the kind of shape I was in at the end of my travels, and anything less would be a come-down.
