I walked around Hawaii barefoot the entire time and found that several people would look at me, but they were all tourists. The locals took it in stride. Even when I went into home depot to buy some toilet parts and plumbing supplies.

Way to go Helen. I knew I always thought she was cool. Now I know why

I can't find anything bizarre about going barefoot, I have went barefoot all of my adult life and I think it is wonderful. I tried to post a comment on there but i couldn't get through for some reason.
