    Hello Members,
This Chapter is growing slowly and steadily. I would like some help organizing events since we are quite spread out over the State. A lot of you are located in the Seattle area, and it would be fantastic to get a volunteer to organize events up there, as I am located in the South Sound.

Thank you and enjoy the better barefoot running weather!

    Christine

Hi Christine. I've had to take a break from barefoot running because of some nagging chronic pain, but I'm still doing everything else (walking, hiking, etc.) barefoot. I could help out some with organizing at least, if not participating. Did you have any events in mind?

    Hi Jen,
There is one other, "pathunt" that I know of. Not every member lists their location which is a problem for organizing events! Would you drive as far north as Olympia for a running get-together?

Sorry to hear that! I was thinking of a run/picnic in the Tacoma area to be a little more centralized for most some weekend the sun decides to come out!

I'm in Kelso. I'm not really running right now, but I want to get to that point.

Gale Canyon just outside of Wilkeson would be a great barefoot trail.

It is a soft surface trail perfect for barefoot running. It's not well know at this point so it's secluded and beautiful.

It parallels Wilkeson Creek if you want to cool your feet off or jump in.

If everyone could meet up somewhere in Tacoma or Puyallup we might be able to take one car. It's a little out of town but worth the trip.
